History of National Doctor’s Day
Usually these National and International Days are celebrated because most celebrations are done out of appreciation, respect, honor, responsibility, tradition, or to congratulate a person or party.
India celebrates National Doctors’ Day in honour of Dr.Bidhan Chandra Roy (1 July 1882 — 1 July 1962), an eminent Indian physician, educationist, philanthropist, freedom fighter, and politician who served as the 2nd Chief Minister of West Bengal.
But I personally think we should also reserve one day for all my civilian, non-medico friends and general public and call it as ’ Aam Admi Day ’. We are bcz of them and they are bcz of us its a symbiotic relationship.
Let’s not waste this day in accusing each other but for awareness and positivity.
