Every day we encounter something that makes us angry, hurt, resentful, and lose a little faith in humanity. Once Gandhiji said that “You must not lose faith in humanity. Humanity is like an ocean; if a few drops of the ocean are dirty, the ocean does not become dirty.” – Mahatma Gandhi. With these motivation words, Heartiest morning to each and everyone present here! My name is Vedant from Class 9th standing on dias with my classmates to present todays morning assembly.
Gandhiji tells us not to lose faith in humanity. Not to stop believing that there’s goodness in this world too, no matter how dark it gets. Today, On January 30, India is celebrating Martyr’s day or Shaheed Diwas. Dear friends, Martyrs Day is recognized nationally on the 30 January to mark the assassination of Mahatma Gandhi in 1948. This is a day to remember the sacrifices of all the freedom fighter who gave their lives for the country and to pay homage to the great leader Mahatma Gandhi who inspired millions of people with the principles of non-violence and truth.
And lets start today’s morning assembly with God’s prayer and pray to God for all the people who died for out country’s independence and protection.

Mahatma Gandhi is the pioneer of the Indian Freedom struggle. He inspired movements for civil rights and freedom across the world. Let’s take some inspiration from his bold and simple words and add the beauty of truth and discipline to our life. And with this, I invite on stage Veda from class 8th to share today’s thought with us.

The significance of Shaheed Diwas lies in the fact that Mahatma Gandhi, who is known as the ‘Father of the Nation’ led major movements against British rule through a non-violent approach. Today we gratefully remember Mahatma Gandhi and the countless freedom fighters who sacrificed themselves for our Independence. Let us know more about this day and I invite on stage Trishul from class 8th to deliver a speech.
“Raghupati Raghav Raja Ra” holds a deep spiritual and historical significance in the rich tapestry of Indian culture. And this devotional song is a tribute to Lord Ram, who is revered as the seventh avatar of Lord Vishnu in Hindu mythology.

Mahatma Gandhi adopted non-violence (ahinsa) to fight against British rule to get freedom for the country. Under his guidance, several freedom movements were carried out that paved the way for ending colonial rule.
We would like to share some of the major movements that played a prominent role in shaping Indian Independence. And next, I invite on stage Kiran from Class 8th.
