For Parents – Namo Lakshmi Yojana Gujarat 2024
If your daughter is admitted in any class from 9th to 12th in this school, under the government’s Namo Lakshmi Yojana, a scholarship of around ₹500 per month is available, for which a bank account in the name of the daughter is mandatory. A mother in a nationalized bank. The following conditions are compulsorily applicable to avail this scheme.
Conditions for Namo Lakshmi Yojana
- 1. Only Class-8 of daughter will be considered for this scheme.
- 2. If your daughter has passed class-8 from a self-financed school, the annual income of parents should be up to 6,00,000 (Six Lakhs).
- 3. Annual income limit of parents will not be considered if your daughter has passed class-8 from a government or a granted school.
- 4. The parents of daughters to whom the scheme is applicable should open a bank account in the name of the daughter’s mother and deposit the xerox of the bank passbook in the school within 5 (five) days.
- 5. If the mother’s bank account details are not provided within the stipulated time limit, the benefit of this scheme will be the personal responsibility of the guardian.
It is mandatory to submit the following documents in the school, if you do not provide these documents, you will not get this benefit.
Deposit this document in day 5 and get benefit
- Xerox of mother’s bank pass book or canceled check (Account should be with a nationalized bank only. Post will not work. Local bank will not work)
- Mother’s Aadhaar Card Xerox
- Daughter’s Aadhaar Card Xerox
- Daughter’s birth certificate with mother’s name written on it or xerox of LC which should have mother’s name.
- One photo of mother and son
- Certificate of income
- In case the daughter’s mother is not present, a xerox of the daughter’s bank passbook or canceled check (must be a nationalized bank. Local or post account will not work.)
