Instructions for School and College Visits – Amrit Udyan 2025
1. Opening and Suggested Day / Timings
- The Gardens will remain open for the general public from 2nd Feb to 30th March, 2025
- Garden will remain open from Tuesday – Sunday ; recommended visiting days for schools and colleges are Tuesday – Friday.
- Garden timings will be 10AM to 6PM; recommended entry time slots are 10AM – 11AM, 11AM – 12PM and 3PM – 4PM
- The Gardens will remain closed on Mondays
2. Bookings and Confirmation
- Schools and colleges will have three options to book their visits:
- Online bookings on Rashtrapati Bhavan Website

- Call on +91-9205855997
- Schools and colleges interested in visiting Rashtrapati Bhavan Museum can additionally book their slots for the Museum as well. Tickets are free for students. Students can make the most of this learning opportunity.
- Post completion of booking, a confirmation will be shared with respective schools and colleges.
- Confirmation will have a QR coded entry ticket that may be used during entry.
- Maximum 50 students can be registered on a single booking. In case the number of students is more than 50, a separate booking needs to be done.
- Schools may ensure that students visit the Gardens in proper school uniform only.
3. Entry Process
- Entry to Gardens will be through Gate No. 35 of the Rashtrapti Bhavan on North Avenue Road(outlined in the map below)
- Schools and colleges are required to arrive at the entry gate as per time slot booked by them.
- Each accompanying teacher shall carry the booking QR code on their phones to facilitate the entry of students.

- Consists of fragrant varieties such marigold, viola, and pansies. A bubble fountain in the middle enhances the grandeur of the garden Home to more than 25 varieties of seasonal flowers
6. Vertical Garden
- An interesting picture point with myriads of plants, artistically arranged vertically.
7. Nature’s Classroom
- Two nature classrooms formed from the logs of an old tree which completed its life. Many student activities will be organized under the shade of the magnificent Pilkhan tree.
8. Babbling Brook
- Babbling Brook offers a serene water feature winding through Amrit Udyan, creating a tranquil escape amidst lush greenery.
