The Government of India is celebrating Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav to highlight the contributions of those Heros who made huge sacrifices for the freedom and unification of this country.
With a view to identify the events and individuals that deserve attention for their sacrifices, the Govt. of India has decided a year long commemoration of event ‘Hyderabad State Liberation’ for the period of 17.09.2022 to 17.09.2023. This will be celebrated across the 3 states (Telangana, some districts of Maharashtra and Karnataka) in a manner befitting the sacrifices made by the previous generation for the merger of erstwhile state of Hyderabad into the Union of India. The objective is to make the current generation aware of the story of resistance, valour and sacrifice.
In view of above, the schools situated in the erstwhile state of Hyderabad across the 3 states (Telangana, some districts of Maharashtra and Karnataka), are requested to organize Prabhat-Pheris in the morning of 17th September 2022 to be a part of the event of inaugural programme of ‘Hyderabad State Liberation’. The concerned schools are also requested to upload a report of the same as per following:
- The report should be in pdf format only.
- Please write one paragraph about the event organized and paste 2-3 photos in the same pdf. Only one pdf is to be uploaded by each school.
