What is Meri Policy Mere Haath Photography Government Competition

Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana (PMFBY) aims to support the sustainable production in agriculture sector by way of:
• providing financial support to farmers.
• stabilizing the income of farmers.
• encouraging farmers to adopt innovative and modern agricultural practices,
• ensuring flow of credit to the agriculture sector; which will contribute to food security, crop diversification and enhancing growth and competitiveness of the agriculture sector besides protecting farmers from production risks.

The goal of this activity “Meri Policy Mere Haath” is to engage citizens across the country in the PMFBY’s Campaign. Citizens are expected to take a photo/selfie with a farmer who receives the policy document as part of the “Meri Policy, Mere Haath” campaign in their village, block, district, and state (or UT) and upload it to the MyGov activity page.

To ensure maximum participation, we will disseminate information about this activity via social media and share it with our stakeholders, states/UTs, and farmers.
