What is Mahila Samriddhi Yojana ?

Micro credit scheme to target group women and self-employed women entrepreneurs to create self-employment for women of nomadic and free castes.

Under this scheme, women beneficiaries will be able to do business/business of their choice.

The applicant should be a nomadic or free caste woman.
With effect from 1/4/2018 the annual family income limit for income eligibility is Rs. 3 lakhs, of which Rs. At least 50 percent of the total loan amount will be allocated for families with an annual income of up to ₹1.50 lakh.
Applicant’s age should be at least 21 years and not more than 50 years on the date of application.
Applicant must have experience in business/business case with technical and expertise.
The applicant has to provide adequate security to get the loan.

Maximum loan limit of Rs. 1,25,000/- will be upto.
The rate of interest will be 4% per annum.
Under this scheme, 100% loan of the amount of business/business is provided.
95% of the loan amount will be National Corporation contribution, 5% State Government contribution and beneficiary contribution will be nil.
The loan amount has to be repaid in 48 equal monthly installments with interest.
(Applicants who have taken loans from the Corporation (Gujarat Vicharati and Vimukta Jati Vikas Nigam, Gandhinagar) earlier and are in arrears of repayment) should not apply for the loan.
In direct-lending scheme, one person per family and one loan application has to be made in a single scheme.
