Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar was one of the greatest legendary reformers of India, who lived his life for betterment of the people. He believed in the important values of humanity like – equality, fraternity and freedom. He always used to say that the inclusion of principle values like – equality, fraternity and freedom was not the copy of other countries, actually it was derived from India. These principle values belong to the Buddha which were included in our constitution.
We all knew that his entire life was full of struggles. but his main weapon of dealing with it was education. he gave education the highest place in human life. therefore, he quotes in his book.
As he faced the lot of discrimination all the time of his life, he conveyed the motivated message of “Educate, Agitate, Organize” so he included education as the fundamental right in the Indian Constitution. he also believed that
“The Progress of any country is measured by the socio-economic and educational status of women in that country”
Therefore, special provisions have been made in the constitution to enable and empowered woman to lead the human and self -respecting life. Measures have been taken to ensure equal access to education for all. His passion for education is reflected in the important works he was done through his “The Peoples Education Society” Siddharth College, Milind College etc. “The Hindu code will Bill” was supposed to be a milestone in improving the socio-economic status of women which could not be passed in his time. He was saddened to see the opposition to “The Hindu code will Bill” by women. all that moment , he felt that women did not want to improve their social status and that they were the enemy of their own progress and human rights. But after his death, the importance and need of “The Hindu Code will Bill” began to be understood and it was implemented. He was very visionary person. As we know that he was the most educated person of his time, he was very conscious about education as well as social values and human principles.
His journey of BHIM to the great Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar has been a tough one, which seems to us in his biography or auto-biography “waiting for visa” we get to see many aspects of is biography of his personality and works through his life struggles. Here, I would like mention a famous Marathi poem of kusumgraj. In that poem he assumes that Gandhiji is talking about Dr. Bhimrao that Ambedkar is the most honorable and richest person in India, because his place is in the minds and hearts of the people. I feel so sorry that my place is only on the office wall. The Birth Anniversary of Dr. Babasaheb ambedkar is not simply birth anniversary. Its a festival which is celebrated not only in Maharastra but all over the country.
He carried out many important movements during his time such as Mahad Satyagraha, Kalaram Mandir Satyagraha, Manusmriti Daha, Untouchability Abolition etc. It is said that some specific communities were not allowed to have basic fundamental right of drinking water at the public place and not allowed to enter the temple. The Drinking water Satyagraha was the first satyagraha in the world which was for the water. after that public water supply started to be opened to all in stages. It was one of the greatest works of Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar.
Talking about his personal life, at his very small age his mother Bhimabai passed away. But his aunt meerabai took care of him and gave the motherly love and Affectionation to him. His father was very strict, disciplined and determined. His father instilled in him love of discipline and reading. His wife Ramabai was very supportive in his works. She sacrificed all over her life.
Words and pages are not enough to cover every aspects of Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar. It’s very difficult to write about Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar in words No Matter how many words are written they are insufficient.

In the conclusion, everyone should learn how to deal with the difficulties. and how to find the wat. He wrote so many books like “Who were Shudras?” , ‘the problem of rupee”, “Buddha and his Dhamma:, “Milinda Pnha”, “thoughts on Pakistan”, etc. Government of Maharashtra recently had published Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar writings and speeches in the 21 volumes. recently Canadian government decided to celebrate the 131st Birth anniversary of dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar as “Equality day” so in true sense, he is know as the father of modern India, symbol of knowledge, An architect of constitution of India, symbol of equality, and off course the father of social justice.
