Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru loved children very much and he was fondly called ‘Chacha Nehru’. Because of his love for children, his birthday is celebrated as Children’s Day. Children’s Day is a very happy day for children. it is also called as ‘Bal Diwas’
On this day, many educational and motivational programs are held across India for children. Once Pandit Nehru said that ” The Children of Today will make the India of tomorrow. The way they bring them up will determine the future of the country”.
Children’s Day is succeed when our country will be free from child labour and every child get the same right to education.

पंडित जवाहरलाल नेहरू बच्चों से बहुत प्यार करते थे और उन्हें प्यार से ‘चाचा नेहरू’ कहा जाता था। बच्चों के प्रति उनके प्रेम के कारण ही उनके जन्मदिन को बाल दिवस के रूप में मनाया जाता है। बाल दिवस बच्चों के लिए बहुत खुशी का दिन होता है। इसे ‘बाल दिवस’ भी कहा जाता है
इस दिन बच्चों के लिए पूरे भारत में कई शैक्षिक और प्रेरक कार्यक्रम आयोजित किए जाते हैं। एक बार पंडित नेहरू ने कहा था कि “आज के बच्चे कल का भारत बनाएंगे। जिस तरह से वे उन्हें पालेंगे, वही देश का भविष्य तय करेगा।”
बाल दिवस तब सफल होता है जब हमारा देश बाल श्रम से मुक्त होगा और प्रत्येक बच्चे को शिक्षा का समान अधिकार प्राप्त होगा।
