My Name is Vedant. Today I am going to speak a few words about Netaji Subhas chandra Bose. He was a great freedom fighter of India.
He was born on 23rd January 1897 in Cuttack, Odisha. His father’s name was Janakina Bose and Mother’s name was Prabhavati Devi. He sacrificed his entire life for the motherland.
The Azad Hind Fauz was formed by Subhas Chandra Bose. His famous slogans are, “Give me blood, I shall give you freedom.” and “Jai Hind”.
Some Interesting Facts about Parakram Diwas
Parakram Diwas is celebrated every year on 23 January. This day is also known as Bravery Day. This day is celebrated to commemorate the Birth Anniversary of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose. Bose Ji’s Family has demanded to celebrate this day as patriotism day.
This day was celebrated for the first time in the year 2021 on the occasion of Netaji’s 124 Birth Anniversary. This day was announced by Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi. Parakram Diwas is celebrated with great enthusiasm all over India. On this day, programs related to Netaji are staged all over the country.
On this day, patriotism is awakened among children through many educational programs. This day inspires us to be brave and courageous like Netaji.
It is believed that he died in a plane crash on 18th August 1945.
