In April 2028, the United Nations General Assembly declared June 3 as International World Bicycle Day. The bicycle can serve as a tool for personal development as well as a means of gaining access to education, health care and sports.
The first World Bicycle Day is on Sunday, June 3, 2018 at UN General Assembly in New York. The day draws attention to the benefits of using the bicycle. Bicycle riding regularly is a good option as it is good for physical and mental health.
It is also good for environment and economy. The bicycle can serve as a tool for personal development as well as a means of gaining access to education, health care, and sports. The day aims at developing a culture of cycling for basic transportation, commutation, and strengthening physical and mental health.
