Honourable Principal Sir, Vice Principal Sir, Cherished teachers and my lovely students. Good Morning to All. Dear children today we have gathered here to celebrate your childhood. ‘Happy Children’s Day’ to you all ! and you know you are very special part of our lives.
We as teachers always want to see you all shine at every moment of your life. 14th November is commemorated as the birth anniversary of Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru who believed that children are the future of the country and the foundation of the society. He had an great affection for kids. and you know the celebration is incomplete without reflecting on the values and morals of Jawaharlal Nehru left behind for us.
He belonged to a privileged family background but left the materialistic life behind and decided to join the Indian National Movement with Mahatma Gandhi. He dedicated his entire life for the country. He said that youths are the future of the nation, who are responsible for carrying out vital duties across several domains & serving society this way or another. Dear students, your teachers are trying to make this world a better place, your teachers are teaching you the importance of pen over that of a sword, your teachers care for you. You all inspire your teachers to give their 100 percent.
Dear students, the world needs lots more good leaders. Anyone of you can be a good leader…anyone but how? By doing the right things, by helping others on need, by guiding people right things and by setting good examples for others.
