Respected Principal Sir, Teachers and My Dear Students Good Morning to All.
My Name is Vedant. Today I have been honoured to tell a speech about the Father of Our Consitution Dr. Bhim Rao Ambedkar. Dr. Bhim Rao Ambedkar, popularly known as Babasaheb Ambedkar was born on 14th April 1891 in the town and military contonment of Mhow (now officially known as Dr Ambedkar Nagar, Madhya Pradesh). Every year, this day is celebrated as Ambedkar Jayanti in India.
Dr. Ambedkar was a man of a rich personality. He was a politician, a social reformer, a jurist and an economist. He always fought against the injustices prevalent in Indian society. He was the first Law Minister of Independent India.
He was a leader of Dalits or the backward class people of India. He was the first Dalit to complete his education. He had done a PhD. He was a master of 64 subjects and could speak 11 language proficiently.
Born into a marginalized community, Dr. Ambedkar experienced discriminations and injustice firsthand. Yet, he rose above these challenges, dedicating his life to the upliftment of the oppressed and the establishment of a more just and equal society.
His tireless efforts not only ensured the protection of fundamental rights for all citizens but also empowered millions of individuals who has long been denied their dignity and basic freedoms.
As we reflect on his contributions today, let us remember that his vision was of a society where all individuals are treated with respect, regardless of their caste, creed, or gender.
On this special day, let us reaffirm our commitment to building a society based on the principles of equality, justice, and fraternity-values that Dr. Ambedkar worked so hard to instill in our Constitution. Thank you
