We are now completed 75 years as a Republic. Republic Day is a reminder of our nation’s journey, the sacrifice of countless freedom fighters, and the enduring spirit of unity and diversity that shapes India.
What is Republic Day means really ?
It’s not just about parades and patriotic songs. Its about honouring the values and ideals that make our nation great. Its about celebrating the unity and diversity that define India. And most of all it is about remembering the sacrifices of those who fought for our freedom and independence. Dear students / Dear all, in the early years of Independence we faced countless challenges and adversities. There were high level of illiteracy and poverty but the spirit of India was undeterred. Those time of struggle and sacrifice helped us win freedom from the colonial rule. Mahatma Gandhiji’s national movement Revolutionaries and reformers vision and ideals helped us to learn about our age-old values of peace, brotherhood and equality. Dear all, Republic Day marks the day that the Constitution of India came into effect.
We will always be grateful to Dr. B.R. Ambedkar and others who headed the drafting committee of the constitution and gave us a moral framework. Dear all, the task of walking that path remains our responsibility.
Dear all, we are celebrating the Republic Day that means we are celebrating what we have achieved together as a nation but yet we realise that much remains to be done to the upliftment of all.
